Diamond Mechanical Works

Diamond Mechanical Works is our little place over at B-11 515 B.R Street in Gandhi Bazaar. Gandhi Bazaar is a very busy area, so there is always something happening outside our door. We’ve been here for a good number of years now. The shop is mostly full of metal scraps and old machines we use for our work. It’s a mechanical workshop, so don't expect it to be very clean or quiet. We do a bit of everything when it comes to metalwork. People bring us things that need welding or cutting, and we do our best with them. It’s just me and a couple of helpers. We learned the trade from our fathers and just kept it going. We don’t have any big slogans or missions. We just like working with our hands and making things that stay together. The street outside is narrow, so it can be a bit of a squeeze if you are driving a big car. Most people just walk over. We have a lot of regular customers who come from all over the bazaar. They know we’ll give them a straight answer about whether something can be fixed or not. We enjoy the routine of the day. Start early, have some chai, work on the projects, and lock up when it gets dark. It’s a simple life here on B.R Street.
