The morning starts early here. You can hear the shutters going up all along Street No. 16. Dhanjal Hydraulic Company is right in the middle of it. Being behind Ati Collage means there's always someone walking by or a bit of noise from the students. We usually have a few projects lined up on the floor. It's a lot of metal and oil. Sometimes it gets dusty, especially in the summer months. We don't really use a computer for much besides the basics. Most of what we do involves wrenches and pressure gauges. It's hands-on stuff. If a part breaks, we look at it. If a hose needs replacing, we do that. Guru Angad Dev Colony is a decent place to work out of. People find us by word of mouth mostly. We don't spend time on fancy brochures. The address is 8514, and we've been here long enough that most locals just point the way. It’s a practical space for practical work. Nothing fancy, just the way we like it. The walls could use a bit of paint, but the machines are what matter. We keep the tools close and the tea hot. It’s a routine that works for us. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town. We just want to do the work that comes in and keep things moving for our neighbors and the folks who stop by.
