Deep Embroidery Centre

Deep Embroidery Centre is located on Kisor Road, right near the Jain Dharm Sala in Chaura Bazar. It’s a busy part of town, and you can usually find us by the sound of the machines running. We have thread in every color you can imagine, and it ends up all over our clothes by the end of the shift. The light in the shop has to be bright so we can see the small stitches, but even then, your eyes get tired after a few hours of staring at the patterns. We’re right near the Dharm Sala, so there are always people passing by on their way to prayers or events. The room is usually filled with the hum of the embroidery heads going back and forth. It’s a bit cramped with all the fabric rolls and the big frames we use. We don't really have a lobby or a waiting area, just the workspace where the magic happens. Sometimes a customer brings in a design that’s really complicated, and we have to spend a long time getting the settings just right. We take our tea breaks standing up because there’s not much room to sit down once the machines are all running. It’s a lot of manual work, checking for broken threads and making sure the needles are sharp. We’ve been at this Kisor Road spot for years and everyone around here knows our face.
