Dashmesh Metal Fabrics

We've been at 1715/5-B, Lane 13 in Shimla Puri for a while now. Dashmesh Metal Fabrics is basically just us doing our thing with metal and fabrics. It gets pretty busy in this part of town. People often come by the lane and see the work we’re doing. We aren't a big fancy office, just a simple workshop. My cousin helped me set up the machines years ago. Sometimes the noise is a bit much, but that's how it goes in Shimla Puri. We do what we do. Nothing more to it really. If you walk down Lane 13 you'll find us easily enough. We don't have a big sign but everyone knows the spot. We spend most of our days just handling orders and making sure the metal is right. It's dusty work but someone has to do it. The neighborhood is quiet mostly, except for when we are running the heavy stuff. We’ve stayed in the same place because it works for us. We don't see a reason to move to a bigger park. Everything we need is right here. We keep it simple. Usually, one of us is around if someone drops in with a question about a piece of fabric or a metal frame. It’s just how things are run around here. No big meetings or anything like that. Just work. My neighbor often brings us tea when we're working late. Instead of a computer, we just use a ledger to keep track of things.
