Jay Jay Shawl

We have been here at 1190 Satsang Road in the Civil Lines area for quite a while now. Most people around here know where we are because the street gets busy during the day. Jay Jay Shawl is basically just us working with fabrics and making sure the shawls are ready for whoever needs them. It is not a very big setup, but we manage. The building is easy to spot once you get onto Satsang Road. Sometimes the traffic is a bit much, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We spend most of our hours sorting through materials and checking the piles. It gets cold sometimes, which I guess is good for the shawl business. We don't have a fancy front office or anything like that. It is mostly just the work floor and a lot of thread everywhere. If you walk past, you might hear the machines going. We try to keep things organized, but when we are busy, it gets a little messy with all the boxes stacked up. It is a decent place to work, and we have been in Civil Lines long enough that the neighbors know our faces. We just focus on getting the shawls done and sent out. Nothing too complicated about it. We like being on this side of the road. We usually start our day early when it is still quiet outside. By noon, the whole place is humming with activity.
