CHET SINGH & SONS is located at No.14321 in the Bansal Complex on G. T. Road in Dholewall. Being right on G. T. Road means there is a constant roar of traffic outside our door. Trucks, buses, and cars are always zooming by, and the air is usually thick with dust and exhaust. It’s a gritty place to work, but it’s where we’ve been for years. The Bansal Complex is an old building, and our unit has been through a lot. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but people still find their way to us. Inside, it’s mostly just workspace and storage. We don't have a fancy reception desk or a waiting room with magazines. If someone comes by, they usually just stand in the doorway or pull up an old stool. We do a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around. It’s the kind of work that gets your hands dirty by the end of the day. The family has been running things here for a long time, and we don't see any reason to change how we do it. It’s hard work, and the noise from the road never really stops, but it’s what we know. We aren't interested in being corporate; we just want to get the job done and keep the business going for the next generation. Most days we are just trying to keep the dust off the equipment and the paperwork in order.
