Chandan Expeller Industries

Our place, Chandan Expeller Industries, is tucked away at 62-R in Industrial Area-B. If you’ve spent any time around here, you know it’s a lot of metal shops and trucks moving back and forth. We fit right in with the rest of them. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but we have everything set up the way we like it inside. Working in Industrial Area-B means it’s always a bit noisy, but we don't mind. It’s the sound of work getting done. We handle a lot of different things throughout the day. One minute we might be looking at a drawing, and the next we are helping load something onto a truck. It’s a hands-on kind of life. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just make sure the machines are working like they should. Sometimes the power goes out or a tool breaks, and we just have to figure it out as we go. That’s just part of being in this line of work. We’ve got a small crew, and everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing. It’s not a place for suits and ties. Most of us have grease on our hands by noon. We’ve been at 62-R for a long time now and have seen the neighborhood change a bit, but we just keep doing our thing. It keeps us busy and pays the bills.
