Centre Point Crockery House

Centre Point Crockery House started as a small spot in Civil Line. We have a lot of glass and ceramic things packed onto these shelves. It gets a bit crowded sometimes, honestly. People come by looking for a specific kind of tea cup or maybe a heavy bowl for a dinner they are hosting. Sometimes we spend half the morning just dusting because glass shows every little speck. It is a quiet enough area but we stay busy unpacking crates that arrive from the suppliers. You have to be careful walking around here because there is not much floor space left once the new stock arrives. We have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some days are just about organizing the back room and making sure nothing gets chipped. It is not fancy, just a place with lots of plates and kitchen stuff. My father started this and now I am here most days. We usually keep the door open to let some air in unless it is too dusty outside. Most people who live nearby know where we are. We do not do much fancy advertising or anything like that. Just showing up, opening the shutters, and helping someone find a matching plate for their set. It is a lot of repetitive work, counting spoons and checking for cracks, but it is what we do here in Civil Line. We are just a local shop that tries to keep the shelves full of whatever people might need for their tables.
