CAPITAL MACHINE TOOLS (REGD.)

Capital Machine Tools is a registered name, but around here in Ludhiana, we are just the guys on ATI Road. Our place is number 8473 on Street Number 12 in Guru Angad Colony. Ludhiana is a city that never stops making things, and we are just one small part of that whole machine. This street has been our base for a long time. It’s a local neighborhood, so you see the same faces every day. We don’t have a polished corporate look at all. The workshop is full of old machines and bits of iron everywhere you look. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We started out small and stayed that way because it’s easier to manage things ourselves. The air here usually has that metallic scent you find in all the industrial pockets of Punjab. We work through the heat and the cold. There isn't any air conditioning in the shop, just some old ceiling fans that buzz all day. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the work that needs finishing. It’s a humble setup, but we take pride in the tools we produce. People around Guru Angad Colony know us well enough. We don't do much advertising; we just let the work speak for itself. It’s just a regular life in a busy industrial city, making tools and keeping the business going year after year. We hope to keep doing this for the next decade too.
