B.S. Plastic Industries

B.S. Plastic Industries is right in the heart of Industrial Area A, at 893/2. If you come by, you’ll hear the machines running before you see the gate. We make all sorts of plastic items here. It is a hot environment, especially during the peak of summer, because the molding machines put out a lot of heat. The floor is usually covered with little plastic pellets. We have a small office near the front where the paperwork stays, though it usually ends up covered in a bit of grit from the factory floor. We started this unit because there was a need for local parts. My father used to work in a different factory before we got this space. It is not a shiny place. It is a working factory with grease on the doors and stacks of finished goods waiting to be loaded onto trucks. The street outside is usually full of lorries and workers on bicycles. Sometimes the power goes out, and everything gets silent, which is a bit strange. We spend most of our time checking the molds and making sure the cooling water is running right. It’s a messy business but it keeps us busy. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. People just find us through word of mouth or by walking down the lane in the industrial zone. We just focus on getting the orders finished and out the door every day.
