Bhavani Bikaner

Bhavani Bikaner is located inside the Sant Vasuram Shopping complex in Salem Tabri. Being inside a shopping center means we get a different kind of crowd than a street-side shop. We get people who are already out doing their errands or looking for clothes and then they smell the snacks and come over. We specialize in the kind of savories and sweets you would expect from a Bikaner name. The kitchen is always a hive of activity with someone always stirring a big pot or frying something in the deep pans. The Sant Vasuram Shopping area is usually quite loud with music from other shops and people calling out, but we just focus on our own counter. We have a few benches for people to sit on while they eat their snacks, though they are usually full up on the weekends. The tiles on our floor are a bit worn down from all the walking but we think it shows how much people use the place. We don't try to be anything we are not, we are just a snack shop trying to feed the neighborhood. Salem Tabri is a busy part of town and we fit right in with the chaos. It is hard work staying on your feet all day but seeing the regulars makes it feel okay. We just keep the glass cases cleaned and the snacks ready for whoever comes in next for a quick bite.
