We’ve got this place on Link Road in Ludhiana, right across from where N.K.H Hammer is. It’s a busy stretch in Industrial Area A. We do trading, mostly stuff for the local industry. Our shop isn't much to look at, just a counter and a lot of stock piled up in the back. Sometimes it takes us a minute to find exactly what a customer wants because the shelves are so full of different bits and pieces. We’ve been in this spot for years and know most of the people on this street. The road outside is always full of tempos and cycles carrying goods. It’s a lot of back and forth with suppliers and buyers all day. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries. The weather gets really cold in the winter here, but we just keep the shutters half-down and carry on. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. Word travels around the market. If someone needs a specific tool or material, they usually find their way here eventually. We just try to give a fair price and stay honest about what we have in stock. It’s just a regular trading business, nothing more and nothing less. We close up once the sun goes down and the traffic thins out a bit. It’s a living and we’re happy with how things are going for the shop.
