Bhaiya Sweet Shop

Bhaiya Sweet Shop is located right in the middle of Chowk Meena Bazar on Carter Road No 3. It’s a very crowded area, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. The smell of sugar and frying snacks usually fills the air around our door. We’ve been here for a long time, and the shop hasn't changed much. We have the same glass counters and the same tiled floor. It’s not a modern cafe or anything like that. It’s just a sweet shop. We start making the sweets early in the morning before the sun is even up. By the time the Bazar opens, we have everything ready. It’s a lot of work and our hands are always sticky. We don't have a big staff. It's mostly family and a few helpers who have been with us for years. We don't really have a menu; people just look at what's in the cases. Sometimes we run out of things early, and that's just how it goes. Carter Road is always loud and full of energy. We like being part of that. We don't do deliveries or have an app. If you want something, you have to come down to Meena Bazar and see us. It’s a simple business. We make the sweets, people buy them, and we go home. We have a small shrine in the corner with a lamp. We light it every morning. The stools for the customers are a bit wobbly.
