Bedi Spanner

We are located out on Campa Cola Road in Dhandari Kalan. It’s an industrial patch, so there’s always trucks moving around and dust in the air. Bedi Spanner is basically a place where we make and sell hand tools, mainly spanners as the name suggests. We’ve been in this area for a good while, and most of the workers from the nearby units know where we are. The workshop is noisy because of the forging and the grinding, but that’s just how it goes when you’re making tools. We don’t have a front office with air conditioning. Usually, you’ll find us on the floor or near the packing area. We make different sizes, from the small ones for home use to the big heavy ones for engines. It’s hard work, especially in the summer when the heat is really something else. We just focus on getting the steel right and making sure the grip is okay. We don’t talk much about visions or anything. We just want to finish the day’s production and get the orders shipped out to the dealers. If someone comes by looking for a single piece, we usually help them out if we have it ready. It’s a plain, no-nonsense shop. We have some old machines that still work better than the new ones we bought recently. It is just a matter of keeping the maintenance up and working the metal every single day.
