Baum Forge is located over in Phase-Vii of the Focal Point area, specifically at B-53. It’s a typical industrial setting where there is always a layer of grit on the windows and the sound of heavy machinery in the background. We have been working out of this unit for years, and the walls have seen a lot of metal pass through. The mornings start early here, often before the sun is fully up, to get the machines warmed up and ready. It’s not a quiet place, and you definitely need to watch your step around the floor. We deal with forging, so there is a lot of pounding and heat involved throughout the shift. Most of the staff have been with us for a long time, so we all know how each other works without having to say much. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. When the orders come in, we just get to it. Sometimes the weather makes the shop floor feel like an oven, and other days it’s freezing, but the work doesn't stop. We keep our tools in order as best we can, though things get messy when we’re in the middle of a big job. It’s a practical setup, focused on the output rather than looking pretty for visitors. We’re just a local forge doing our thing in this corner of the industrial park. There is always someone working.
