Balco Industries

Down here on Gill Road, things are always busy. Miller Ganj is the kind of place where you can hear hammers and engines from every direction, and Balco Industries is right in the middle of all that noise. We started out with just a couple of tools and not much else. Now the workshop is full of equipment and there’s barely enough room to walk around some days. It gets hot in the summer, really hot, but we keep the fans going and just keep moving. We do a lot of different industrial work, whatever comes through the door usually. There’s no big corporate office here, just a desk in the corner with a lot of papers and some old calendars on the wall. The guys usually show up early, grab their overalls, and get straight to it. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to make sure the parts we make are solid and that the people who buy them aren't coming back to complain. If there's a problem, we fix it. That's the way we've always handled things since we set up shop here. It's a bit messy and there’s oil on everything, but it’s a real place where real work happens. Most of our neighbors are doing the same thing, so we all help each other out when someone needs a specific tool or an extra hand. It’s a good community to be a part of.
