If you walk down Link Road and turn onto Mistri Street, you'll find us in Sharman Bhawan. The place is 41337, and it’s usually easy to hear the machines clattering before you even see the door. We do both hand work and machine embroidery here, so the room is always full of different colored threads and scraps of cloth. It can get a bit messy on the floor when we are working on a big order, but that is just how it is. My eyes get pretty tired by the end of the day from looking at the small needles and patterns. We have a few machines that have been with us for a long time, and they need a lot of oiling to keep going. The street outside is always busy with people moving back and forth, and sometimes the noise from the road makes it hard to talk. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just us doing the work every day. Sometimes a customer brings in something really delicate, and we have to be extra careful. Other times it's just bulk stuff that we need to get through quickly. We take breaks when we can, usually sitting on the stools near the window. It is a simple life here, just focused on getting the stitching right and making sure the machines don't break down at the wrong time.
