Arora Plastics

Our workshop, Arora Plastics, is right in the middle of Miller Ganj. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know how crowded the lanes are and how hard it is to even find a place to park. We have been here for many years, making all kinds of plastic goods like buckets, household items, and some industrial parts. The machines we use are old and they make a lot of noise throughout the day. It’s always a bit warm inside because of the heat from the plastic presses. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist. Usually, you’ll find us on the shop floor checking the quality of the latest batch or moving boxes around. It’s a lot of physical work and we often go home with our clothes smelling like melted plastic. Miller Ganj is a tough place to run a business because of the traffic, but we are used to it by now. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time. We don't really do any advertising. Most of our customers are people we've known for decades. Sometimes the electricity goes out and everything stops, which is frustrating, but we just take a break and wait. We just do our work, pack the orders, and send them out. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. It is just a regular factory doing regular work.
