Aman Marbles

At Aman Marbles, we deal with stone and tiles. We are located near the Railway Crossing between Jawahar Nagar and Jagjit Nagar. It’s a dusty place because of all the stone cutting we do. We have slabs of marble and granite stacked up all over the yard. It isn’t a showroom with fancy lights. It’s more of a working yard where you can see the actual material. I’ve been working with stone for a long time. People come here when they are building a house or fixing up a kitchen. We have different colors and patterns, depending on what we can get in stock. Sometimes the delivery trucks have trouble with the railway crossing, but they usually make it through. It’s a bit noisy with the trains going by and the saws running, but you get used to it. I spend my days measuring slabs and talking to contractors. We don't have a big office, just a small desk in the corner where I keep the bills. The marble is heavy, so we have a few guys to help with the lifting and loading. It’s honest work. We don't promise anything we can't do. If a slab has a crack, I’ll show it to you. We just sell what we have and try to be fair about it. The yard is usually open from morning until sunset. We've been here since the railway crossing was much smaller than it is now.
