Alliance Traders

Our business, Alliance Traders, is based in Guru Gobind Singh Nagarnew Shimla Puri. It’s a local neighborhood where everyone seems to know what everyone else is doing. We’ve been trading from this spot for quite some time, and it’s a basic, functional space. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that; it’s usually just us handling orders and checking on stock. The winters here can get really cold, so we spend a lot of time huddled around small heaters in the office during those months. The streets around New Shimla Puri are often busy with trucks and delivery vans, which is just part of the trading life. Our office is mostly just shelves and desks with a lot of ledgers and paperwork scattered around. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment comes in, the whole place gets turned upside down for a few days. It’s a practical business. We talk to suppliers, deal with customers, and try to make sure everything adds up at the end of the day. There’s nothing particularly glamorous about it, but it’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We like being in this part of town because it feels like a real community. You see the same faces every day, and we’ve built up some good relationships with the people around us. It’s just how we operate. We keep things simple and try to be fair with everyone we deal with.
