Wisdom Way Progressive Inter College

Wisdom Way Progressive Inter College is situated on Faizabad Road in the Chinhat area of Lucknow. If you’ve ever driven down that way, you know how busy it gets with all the traffic. Our college sits right in the middle of that bustle. It’s an inter college, so we have students from the middle years all the way up to their final school exams. The building is a few stories high and has seen a lot of students pass through its doors over the years. We have basic classrooms with wooden benches and blackboards. It’s a very traditional setup, really. The teachers here live mostly in Chinhat or nearby parts of Lucknow, so they know the community well. We don't have a huge sports field or a swimming pool, but we use the space we have as best as we can. The noise from Faizabad Road is always there in the background, but the students get used to it after a while. We follow the state board curriculum and just try to get the syllabus finished on time every year. There’s a lot of focus on exams because that’s what parents here worry about the most. It’s not a polished corporate institution. It’s just a local college where kids come to study hard and hopefully get into a good university later. We do our best with the resources we have, and that’s how it’s been for years. The monsoon season can be tricky with the traffic outside but we make it work.
