National Education Emporium

At No. 177/71 on Guyene Road, near Jhaulal Pul, you’ll find the National Education Emporium. It’s an old building, and we have been here for a long time. The shelves are packed high with books, registers, and all kinds of stationery. It’s a bit of a maze inside. We try to keep things organized by subject or type, but sometimes things get misplaced when we’re busy. The area around Jhaulal Pul is always humming with people. Students come in a lot, looking for specific textbooks or just a pen that writes well. We know many of the teachers from the nearby schools too. It’s a dusty job, dealing with paper all day, but we enjoy it. We don't have air conditioning, just a few old ceiling fans that click while they spin. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back door, so we have to move the stock quickly. We aren't a big chain store with bright lights. We are just a local shop that’s been part of the community for ages. Most of our furniture is wood that’s been worn smooth over the years. We take our time with customers. If you're looking for something specific and we don't have it, we try to tell you where else you might look. It’s a simple way to run a business. We open when the sun comes up and close when it gets dark.
