Vikramshila Academy

Vikramshila Academy is up on the second floor of Palika Bazar in the Kapoor Thala area. If you’re in Lucknow and know the Novelty Aliganj Cinema, we are just a short walk from there. Being in Palika Bazar means there is always a lot of foot traffic and people moving about, which gives the place a lot of energy. Our academy isn't some polished, modern office. It’s a working space. We have several rooms where classes happen simultaneously, and things can get a bit loud when everyone is changing rooms between the sessions. We like the vibe of Kapoorthala; it’s a central part of the city and easy for everyone to reach. The second-floor location gives us a bit of a view of the street below, but mostly we are just looking at textbooks and notes. We don’t use any fancy slogans or try to impress people with big displays. We just show up, open the doors, and start the day’s work. There is a lot of history in this part of town, and we’ve been a small part of it for a while now. Most of our furniture is just standard stuff that’s been here since we first opened. We focus on the teaching and the students, and everything else is secondary. It’s a humble place, but it does what it needs to do for the community here in Lucknow.
