Saute

Saute is tucked inside the Hotel Sand Stone Inn over here in Aliganj. We are right in the Sector H area, which is pretty close to Puraniya Chauraha. It is a busy part of Lucknow, and we get a lot of people coming in who are staying at the hotel or just working nearby. The kitchen starts early in the morning. We spend a lot of time chopping vegetables and getting everything ready for the lunch rush. It is not a huge place, so it feels a bit more personal than those big chain restaurants you see around. Most of our staff have been with us for a while. We know which tables people like and how they want their tea. Being in Aliganj means we get a mix of families and office workers. Sometimes the road outside gets blocked up with traffic, especially near the crossroads, but inside it stays relatively quiet. We just focus on cooking food that tastes right. We aren't trying to be the most modern place in the city. We just want to make sure the plates go out hot and the guests are satisfied. Working in a hotel restaurant means things can be unpredictable, but we like the pace. We don't use a lot of complicated words for what we do. It is just a kitchen in a nice part of Lucknow where we work hard every day. Our team keeps it basic and focuses on the daily tasks.
