Garg Foods

Our place is out at Plot-1156 in Jagrati Nagar. Being in Luxmigunj means we are around a lot of other busy spots. Garg Foods isn't some giant factory, just a regular place where we handle food products. It smells like whatever we are processing that day, which usually isn't a bad thing. We spend a lot of time moving crates and checking inventory. The floor is concrete and it’s seen better days, but it’s sturdy enough for the trucks. We started out small and stayed pretty grounded. There’s a small office area but most of the action happens out where the supplies are. We deal with local vendors mostly. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and packing. The summer heat in Jagrati Nagar can be tough when you’re working near the machines. We drink a lot of tea and just keep at it. Neighbors know us as the guys who are always loading something up. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. If someone needs something, they call or drop by the plot. It’s straightforward. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up because we’d rather be out on the floor making sure the quality is okay. It’s just a regular local business trying to do a good job without making a big fuss about it. We stay busy and that’s plenty for us. There is always more stuff to pack.
