You can find Rajpoot Roller Flour Mills Ltd. out at Site II in the industrial area. We are located at B-4 and 5, right off the Lucknow Road in Mumtaz Nagar. It’s a dusty place, as you can imagine with a flour mill. We spend a lot of time checking the machinery and making sure the grain is moving through the rollers properly. It’s loud inside when everything is running, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We’ve been at this for a while. The trucks come in early in the morning with the raw grain and leave later with the bags filled up. We don't have a lot of office space, mostly just enough for the books and a place to sit for a minute. The walls have some scuffs and the floor always has a thin layer of flour on it no matter how much we sweep. That’s just how it is in this business. Our team is mostly local guys who know the machines well. We don't use any big words or fancy talk. We just focus on the grind. If you come by, you’ll see us in our work clothes, probably covered in a bit of white dust. It’s hard work, but it keeps the lights on. We've stayed in this spot because it's convenient for the transport routes. We just do the work and try to stay on schedule.
