Raunaq Computers

We opened Raunaq Computers on the Kanpur Road in Lucknow, specifically in Vijay Nagar Colony. It’s a small shop where we deal with all kinds of computer parts and repairs. The walls are lined with cables, motherboards, and old monitors that we use for spare parts. I usually have a few machines opened up on the workbench at any given time. My hands are often a bit dirty from the thermal paste and dust inside the towers. It’s not a shiny showroom like the ones you see in the big malls. We have a couple of chairs for people to sit on while they wait for a quick fix, though they’re a bit worn out now. Lucknow gets pretty hot, so we keep the AC running mostly for the machines, not for us. My nephew helps me with the software installations when he’s not at college. We get a lot of students coming in because of our location near the main road. Sometimes we stay open late if a customer really needs their laptop back for work the next morning. We don't really do any marketing, people just find us because we’ve been here a while. The sign outside has faded a bit from the sun, but everyone knows where we are. It’s a busy spot with all the traffic on Kanpur Road, but inside we just focus on the screens and the keyboards. It’s just us trying to keep people's tech running.
