We operate out of room 101 in Ankit Apartment, which is right near the Lci Lohia Path. It’s a bit of a strange spot for a business since it’s an apartment building, but it works for what we do at Noverties India. We aren't a big company with hundreds of employees. Most of the time it’s just a few of us surrounded by boxes and samples. We deal with various items that people might find useful or interesting, though our inventory changes depending on what we can get a hold of. The hallway is usually a bit quiet, which is nice when we’re trying to sort through the paperwork. Sometimes the delivery guys have a hard time finding the entrance because the sign isn't very big. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking lists. It’s a lot of back and forth with suppliers and trying to figure out where things are in the warehouse. We don't have a shiny lobby or a receptionist. If you knock on the door, one of us will probably answer with a pen behind our ear. We just try to keep things organized enough so we don't lose track of the orders. It’s a simple setup, really. We’ve been in this building for a while and the neighbors don't seem to mind the occasional crates moving through the elevator. It’s just how we run things day to day.
