Rakshit Computer

Our shop is on the ground floor of Fairdeal House, right at 34 Lalbagh. If you know the Lal Bagh area, it’s a crowded place with lots of traffic and noise. Rakshit Computer is basically a room full of screens, motherboards, and tangled wires. It stays pretty dusty because of the road outside, no matter how much we clean. People come in with laptops that won't turn on or computers that got too slow. We spend a lot of time staring at blue screens and trying to find the right spare parts in our drawers. It’s a small space, so things are piled up quite a bit. Being in Fairdeal House is handy because people can just walk in from the street. There is no corporate lobby or anyone in a suit here. We are usually just wearing old clothes and working on a motherboard with a soldering iron. Sometimes we have a backlog of repairs, so the desks get really cluttered. It’s a very local kind of spot. We talk to the neighbors and the tea guy comes by twice a day. The work is steady and mostly involves fixing hardware or installing software for students and office workers nearby. It’s just a regular computer shop doing its thing in the middle of a busy Lucknow market. We don't have a big team, just a few of us trying to keep up with the repairs.
