Mikul Foods (Opc) Private Limited is based over at Plot No. 4/741, Sector-4 in Gomti Nagar Vistar. Since it's an OPC, it’s a pretty personal operation. I started this because I wanted to do something for myself in the food industry. Gomti Nagar Vistar is a newer part of the city, so it’s been interesting watching everything grow around our plot. Most of the work is done by me and a couple of helpers. We don't have a giant warehouse or a fleet of trucks. It’s just a small-scale setup where we focus on getting the details right. There’s no corporate hierarchy to deal with here. If a decision needs to be made, I just make it. Sometimes that’s a lot of pressure, but I prefer it that way. We spend our time sourcing good ingredients and making sure the local customers are happy. The building we work out of is basic and practical. We don't do much in terms of advertising; most people find us just by word of mouth or seeing us around the sector. It’s steady work and it keeps me busy from morning until late at night. I don't use any fancy management techniques. I just try to be honest and work hard every day. It’s a simple food business, nothing more and nothing less.
