Loyola International School

Loyola International School is located on Faizabad Road in the Mahanagar area of Lucknow. The address is 226006, and it’s a part of the city that is always moving. Faizabad Road is one of the busiest stretches in Lucknow, so there is a constant stream of cars, rickshaws, and buses outside our gate. The school building has a bit of an older feel to it, with thick walls and high ceilings that help with the heat. We have a small entrance that leads into the main hallway. The classrooms are lined up one after another, and you can hear the murmur of different lessons going on as you walk by. We have a library that is stuffed with books, many of which have been there for years. The playground is a bit small, but the kids manage to play their games during the short breaks they get. In the winter, the sun feels nice in the open areas, but in the summer, everyone stays inside under the fans. The teachers’ lounge is always a bit cluttered with bags and stacks of notebooks. We have a small canteen area where you can smell the food being prepared around noon. It’s a very typical Lucknow school, with a lot of history in the walls and a steady routine that keeps us all going from Monday to Saturday. We just keep things moving along.
