Karamat Husain Muslim Girls Degree College

Our college is located right on Faizabad Road in the Nishatganj area of Lucknow. Karamat Husain Muslim Girls Degree College has been a fixture here for quite some time. If you’ve ever been stuck in the Lucknow traffic near Nishatganj, you’ve probably seen our gates. It’s a place for women to come and get their degrees without a lot of the distractions you find in other parts of the city. Inside, it’s a bit different from the noise outside on the main road. We have students coming in from all parts of Lucknow, some taking the bus and others getting dropped off. The staff here mostly focuses on the day-to-day stuff. We make sure the classrooms are ready and the library is open. We aren't about big speeches or fancy ads. We’re just a local college doing its job. You’ll see girls sitting in the courtyards talking about their subjects or just life in general. It feels like a small community once you step inside. We deal with the usual stuff like power cuts or fixing desks, just like any other place in the city. The history of the college is something people know about, so we don't feel the need to shout it from the rooftops. It’s just a regular part of Nishatganj life. We keep the doors open, the classes running, and we’re happy to be part of the neighborhood here on Faizabad Road. It is just a very normal, busy Lucknow college.
