Induprabha Agro Producer Company Limited

Our office for Induprabha Agro Producer Company Limited is actually in an apartment building. We are in Flat No. 103 on the first floor of Mahalaxmiapartment, which is over in Sector-C, Mahanagar. It’s a bit different from being right out on a farm, but it works for what we need to do. We handle the business side of things here, so there are always stacks of folders and people coming in and out to sign documents. The apartment is okay, though the stairs can be a bit steep if you’re carrying heavy files. We have a small kitchen where we make coffee, and usually, there’s a map of the local agricultural zones pinned to the wall with some coffee stains on the edges. We spend our days coordinating between the growers and the suppliers. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking the weather reports on our old computer. Even though we are in Mahanagar, our hearts are really out in the dirt and the fields where the actual growing happens. Sometimes the city noise gets a bit loud outside the window, but we just shut it and keep working on the ledgers. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that; it’s just us trying to keep the agro business running smoothly from this little flat. It’s a practical way to work and it keeps our costs down so we can focus on the people growing the food.
