GRILLZ & SIZZLES

We are located at C-2005 in Shop B, right in C Block of Indira Nagar. It is a pretty easy spot to find in Lucknow because we are right besides Eram Degree College. You see a lot of students walking past all day with their bags and books. We decided to open Grillz & Sizzles here because we liked the energy of the neighborhood. The sizzlers make a lot of noise and smoke so the exhaust fan is always running full blast. It is a bit of a small space and the tables are tucked in close together. We don't have any of those fancy decorations you see in the malls. It is just some sturdy chairs and a place to eat. Sometimes the college kids come in groups and we have to drag extra stools out from the back. We do all the prep work early in the morning before the sun gets too high. Lucknow summers are no joke and the kitchen gets incredibly hot. We just focus on the task at hand. There is no big philosophy behind what we do. We just open up, cook the food, and clean up at the end of the night. My family helps out when it gets really busy during the exam seasons. It is a plain, honest kind of place. We just try to keep things moving and hope the electricity doesn't cut out too often. It’s just how things are for us.
