Chahat Biryani

Chahat Biryani is a small shop at AKP/53 in the Aliganj area of Lucknow. We are right at Purniya Chouraha in Sector-H. This is a very crowded part of the city with lots of people and cars moving around. Our shop is simple and we don't have any fancy seating areas or decorations. We focus on making biryani every day. Lucknow is famous for its food, so we just try to do our part in this neighborhood. The kitchen is small and it gets very hot in there. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us working through the day. The address is 226024. We don't spend any money on advertising or big signs. People who live around Aliganj or work in Sector-H know where we are. We have been at this spot for some time now. The routine stays the same. We get our supplies in the morning and start cooking. It is hard work and the hours are long, but that is how it is. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything like that. We are just a local shop at Purniya Chouraha. People come in, get their biryani, and go about their business. Chahat Biryani is just a name on a board for some, but it is our daily life.
