Falak Numa Restaurant (Hotel Clarks Avadh)

If you're walking around Hazratganj near Parivartan Chowk, you've probably seen Hotel Clarks Avadh. That's where we are, tucked inside on MG Marg. Lucknow is a big place with a lot of history, and being right here in the middle of it feels right. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We just run the restaurant and try to keep the tables ready for whoever walks in. Being part of a hotel means we see a lot of different faces every day. Some people are here for work, others are just visiting the city. The staff here has been around for a bit, so we know the layout pretty well. It's a lot of walking back and forth, making sure the kitchen knows what's going on and that the guests aren't waiting too long. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. It’s just cooking and serving. The location is convenient because it's so close to everything in Lucknow. We keep our heads down and work. Some days are quieter than others, but that gives us time to catch up on cleaning or rearranging things. It gets a bit hectic when there's a big group, but we manage. We aren't some fancy chain with a polished script. We're just the people working at Falak Numa, making sure things happen the way they're supposed to. It’s practical work and we like it that way. It is just a restaurant in a hotel.
