Eat N Eat

You can find us at the Old Kothi on Quineton Road, right in the Lal Bagh area of Lucknow. We are very close to Nishad Hospital. This building has a bit of history to it, and we’ve tried to keep our shop simple within these old walls. Running a place in a city like Lucknow means there’s always something happening outside the door. The traffic on Quineton Road is constant. Inside, we just have our kitchen and a few spots for people to sit down. We aren't trying to be a five-star hotel. We are just a local spot where you can get a meal. We do the shopping ourselves at the local vegetable markets every morning. It takes time, but it’s the only way we know. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains hard, or the paint looks a bit dull, but we focus on what’s on the plate. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a social media person. It’s just us. We talk to the customers, take the orders, and do the dishes. It’s tiring work, but it pays the bills. People from the hospital often come by when they need a break. We just try to provide a quiet corner for them. That’s our life here at the Old Kothi. No fuss, just daily work and keeping the tea hot.
