Dayanand Inter College

The school is located at 9/202 in the Indira Nagar area of Lucknow, right near the local police station. This part of the city stays quite busy from the early morning hours when the local markets start opening up. Our building sits on a regular street where you see people going about their daily business, heading to work or running errands. Inside the gates, it is a bit quieter, but you can still hear the traffic from the main road nearby. Most of the people working here have been around for quite a few years and know the neighborhood well. The students mostly come from the surrounding blocks within the 226016 pin code. During the summer, it gets very hot in the classrooms, so we make sure the fans are always running. In the winter, the mornings are foggy and things start a bit slower. We don't have a giant campus with fancy statues, just some classrooms and a space where the kids gather for their morning assembly. The walls have some charts made by the students hanging up. It feels like a normal part of the local community here in Indira Nagar. People usually just walk over or use their cycles to get to the gate. It's a simple setup where the focus is just on the daily schedule and getting through the lessons before the afternoon heat sets in for the day.
