Annie Besant College is situated at 1, Gomti Nagar, which is one of the better-known areas in Lucknow. The pin code is 226010. We have been operating here for a while, and the place has a bit of a history to it. It’s a local college where we mostly deal with students from the surrounding neighborhoods. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most modern place in the city. We just have our classrooms and our staff who show up every day to do their jobs. The building is a bit older, and it has that lived-in feel that you get with schools that have been around. Students hang out in the corridors between classes, and there’s always someone asking about exam dates or notes. We try to keep things simple. There isn't any big marketing team here. It’s just the office staff and the teachers. We deal with the usual problems like fixing the fans or making sure the water cooler is working. People in Lucknow know Gomti Nagar is a busy place, but once you are inside the gates, it feels a bit more settled. We don’t make a big deal out of what we do. We just provide the courses and help the students get their degrees so they can move on to whatever is next for them. It’s a local institution, run by local people, for the community right here.
