Siddhi Engineering

Down here in Waluj, Aurangabad, things move at their own pace. Siddhi Engineering is located at M-48 in the MIDC area. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you’re coming from the main city, but this is where all the work happens. The address is quite a mouthful when you try to write it out on a parcel. Our shop floor isn't the biggest, but we’ve crammed enough equipment in there to handle most of the tasks that come our way. You can smell the metal and the oil as soon as you step off the street. We’ve got a small shrine near the entrance where we light an agarbatti every morning before the first machine starts up. It’s a habit now. The walls are covered in old calendars and some notes scribbled directly on the bricks. Maharashtra gets hot, so we have these big fans that mostly just move the warm air around, but we don’t mind. We take pride in just getting the job done without any fancy talk. Most of our customers are from nearby units in Waluj who just drop by when they need something turned or welded. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know M-48 and they know Siddhi Engineering. It’s a simple setup. We work, we drink our chai, and we go home to our families in the evening. That is the life of a small shop in MIDC.
