You can find Astra Industries at Plot No-M-6/3 in the Waluj MIDC area. We are right near the Laxmi Weing Bridge. It’s a typical industrial zone, plenty of trucks and dust. We’ve had this spot for years. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy building with our equipment inside. We mostly do industrial manufacturing. It’s repetitive work sometimes, but it’s what we know. The machines have their quirks, and some of them are older than the guys operating them. We’ve learned how to keep them running smoothly though. We don’t use a lot of big words or corporate talk. We just talk about specs and deadlines. Every morning starts the same way with a quick check of the orders. Sometimes we stay late when a big job comes in. It’s just the way it goes in Waluj. We know the other shop owners nearby. We borrow tools from each other sometimes. It’s a community of makers. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy office. We just have our plot and our machines. We take pride in the fact that what we make actually works. It isn't always easy, and the work is physically demanding. But we’ve been here this long, so we must be doing something right. Just plain, honest work.
