Sisatech Engineers

Our workshop is on Plot No.D-3/1 in the Waluj MIDC area. We are Sisatech Engineers. We do mostly mechanical engineering and fabrication. The yard is usually full of raw material waiting to be cut or welded. It’s dusty and noisy, but that’s how it is in this line of work. We have a few old machines that still run better than the new ones. We don’t talk much, we just focus on the drawings and the metal. People from other units nearby come over when they have a problem they can’t fix themselves. We help out where we can. Most of the people around Waluj know us as the guys who don't mind taking on the small, annoying jobs that the bigger factories won't touch. We don't have a front office or any secretary to answer the phone. Usually, one of us just wipes his hands on a rag and picks up the mobile if it rings. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes when three things need to be welded at once, but we manage. The metal arrives on trucks and we spend the day cutting it down to size and putting it together. It’s nothing fancy, just straightforward metalwork that pays the bills and keeps the guys busy. We’ve been at this spot for quite a few years now, and the routine hasn't changed much in all that time. It's just us doing what we know how to do, which is working with metal and tools.
