Our workshop is located at F-86 in the Waluj MIDC industrial area. It’s a long commute for some of us, but we’ve gotten used to the traffic over the years. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a standard industrial shed with high ceilings and a lot of floor space for the engineering work. We keep the main doors open most of the day to let the air circulate, even if it brings in some of the dust from the road. The sound of the machinery is constant here, and you have to speak up if you want to be heard over the hum. We have a small office tucked away in one corner where the paperwork gets handled. It’s usually covered in stacks of drawings and half-empty boxes. There’s a small cupboard for our bags and a kettle for making tea in the afternoon. The floor has plenty of oil stains and scuff marks, which is just what happens when you work with heavy parts every day. Outside, there are a few trees that provide a bit of shade for the parked scooters. It gets incredibly hot in the summer, and the metal roof doesn't help much, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. It’s a busy place, and there’s always something that needs fixing or moving. We don't have any fancy signs or corporate decorations, just the work and the people who do it.
