Laxmi Auto Engineering

Down in the MIDC area of Waluj, at D-51/16, you’ll find Laxmi Auto Engineering. It’s a loud place sometimes, with the machines running all day. We deal with auto parts and general engineering work. This area is full of workshops, so we fit right in. We’ve been here for a good while, watching the industrial zone grow up around us. It’s not a glamorous job. You spend a lot of time with grease on your hands and looking at blueprints or old parts. Our shop floor is usually a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us near the lathes or the welding station. We just take the orders as they come. Some days are busier than others, especially when a big client needs something yesterday. We don’t really bother with big speeches or anything like that. We just do the work. It’s simple, honest labor. The heat in the summer can be tough in these sheds, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve got a few guys who have been here since the start. We just try to keep the machines in good shape so they don't break down when we need them most. It’s a living, and it’s what we know how to do. That’s about all there is to it. We just keep going.
