We are located over at Plot K-177 in the Waluj MIDC area. This is where we do all our gear cutting and machining. The industrial area here in Aurangabad is quite huge, and we’ve been part of this section for a good while. Inside the shed, we have different machines set up for different types of gears. It’s technical work, but we talk about it in simple terms. You have a piece of metal, and you need it to mesh perfectly with another one. Our workers spend a lot of time measuring and checking things. It’s a lot of sitting and watching the cutters do their job, then checking the teeth on the gears. The air always smells a bit like machine oil and coolant. We don’t do much advertising; people mostly find us because they need something specific made for their machinery. The plot isn't the biggest in the MIDC, but we use every inch of space we have for the equipment and the raw materials. Usually, the day starts early before it gets too hot, and we try to get the heavy cutting done. Waluj is a place where you see a lot of people in uniforms and trucks moving parts between factories. We are just one of those shops, keeping our machines running and making sure the gears we send out are going to last for whoever is using them.
