Mukand Engineers Ltd. has this branch in Parli, right near the Santoshi Mata Mandir in Conductor Colony. It’s a bit of a mouthful to explain where we are exactly, but locals find us easily enough. We’re tucked away in the V.R. Munde building. Beed district is a bit different from the big cities, so things move at their own pace here, which is fine by us. The office isn't anything special to look at. We’ve got some desks, a lot of folders, and a corner where we keep the site equipment. Being near the temple means we hear the bells and the morning prayers, which is a nice backdrop while we’re looking at spreadsheets or planning the next site visit. We mostly handle the technical side of things for projects in this part of Maharashtra. It gets dusty, and the summers are no joke, but the work keeps us busy. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. We just focus on the engineering. If a part is missing or a plan doesn’t line up, we stay late until it’s figured out. Most of the staff live nearby, so it feels more like a small community than a cold office. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time checking and re-checking our numbers. It’s honest work, and we’ve been at it long enough to know the shortcuts aren’t worth it.
