Laxmi Machine Tool

Our workshop is located at 1-103/1 in the Ferozguda area. It’s an industrial sort of neighborhood, so there’s always the sound of machinery and trucks moving about nearby. We handle a lot of machine tools, ranging from small hand bits to larger components for factories. The floor is usually covered in a bit of oil or metal shavings, which is pretty standard for a place like ours. We don’t have a fancy showroom; we just have our racks and the workbench where we check everything before it goes out. Most of the people who come to see us are looking for something very specific to fix a breakdown or upgrade a lathe. We spend a lot of time looking through catalogues or checking our own shelves to find the right fit. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep as much stock as possible so people don't have to wait for orders to arrive. Ferozguda is a good spot for us because so many other trades are right around the corner. We know the other shop owners and often help each other out with bits and pieces. It’s not the kind of place you’d come for a tour, but if you need a tool that works, we’re usually here from early morning. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but everyone around here knows where Laxmi is. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
