Soka Mineral

Soka Mineral is based out in Mundra. Our site is actually quite close to the Jindal Saw Limited plant, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us in this part of town. Working with minerals isn't exactly clean or easy work, but it’s what we do here day in and day out. The dust and the heat are just part of the environment in Mundra. We spend a lot of time managing the raw materials and making sure everything is processed the way it should be. It’s a dusty place, and we don't have a fancy office with air conditioning everywhere. It’s more of a hands-on operation where we focus on the task at hand. The guys here have been doing this for years, so they know the machinery better than anyone. We don't really have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just talk to the people we work with and make sure the minerals get to where they need to go. If you drive past the Jindal facility, you’re basically there. It’s a quiet enough area until the trucks start moving. We just keep to ourselves and focus on the daily tally. There’s no polish here, just hard work and moving product. That’s the reality of the mineral business in this part of India. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep the equipment running.
