We are located over at 23 Jhulelal Society. It is right behind the District Court in Bhuj. If you know that area, you know it gets pretty busy when the court is in session. We deal with minerals here. It’s mostly bags and piles of stuff that comes from the ground. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. Bhuj can get so hot in the summer, so our office is usually full of dust and the fan is always running at full speed. We spend a lot of our time checking the quality of what comes in and making sure it goes out to the right people. It’s not the cleanest job in the world. Your clothes usually end up looking a bit grey by the end of the day. We have a few guys who help with the heavy lifting and loading. The society is mostly quiet in the evenings once the court shuts down and the lawyers go home. We like it here because it's central. We don't have a big fancy showroom. If you come by, you'll see us sitting around the desk with ledgers and samples of rocks and powders. We just try to get the orders right and keep the trucks moving. My cousin started this years ago and we just kept it going. It’s just a regular local business trying to do things the right way without much fuss. There's always a truck being loaded or unloaded near the entrance.
