Kutch Stone Mines & Minerals

Our office is located in T-3 of the Garden View Apartment building, right in New Bankers Colony. It’s a bit unusual to run a mining and minerals company from an apartment complex, but it works well for the administrative side of things. We don’t keep the actual rocks here, obviously, but this is where all the planning and the phone calls happen. The colony is usually pretty quiet, which is nice when you’re trying to go over spreadsheets or talk to the guys at the mine sites. We have a few samples of different stones sitting on the bookshelves just so we can show people what we’re talking about if they drop by. The room is a bit cramped with all the filing cabinets we’ve squeezed in over the years. Kutch Stone Mines & Minerals is basically run from this one main room and a small side area where we keep the computer and the printer. Sometimes the neighbors ask us what we’re doing with all those maps spread out on the table. It’s a lot of coordination, making sure the trucks are where they need to be and the permits are all updated. We drink a lot of coffee while we’re looking at the wall calendar and trying to figure out the schedules for the next month. It’s not a big corporate headquarters, just a functional space in a residential building where we get the real work done. We manage things as best as we can with the space we have.
